COVID-19 Third Dose for Immunocompromised Individuals
As of August 16, 2021, a third dose is only recommended for people with certain serious
medical conditions or who receive treatments that weaken their immune system.
Eligible individuals for the third COVID-19 vaccine include:
- You 12 years of age or older
- You received two doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least 28 days ago
- You have a condition or receive treatment that weakens your immune system
NYC Health + Hospitals Prize Giveaway Program for Vaccinated Staff
NYC Health + Hospitals will be giving away $250 Gift Cards and vacation prizes to eligible staff as a thank you for getting the COVID-19 vaccine and helping to keep our workplaces safe, protect our patients and each other. You must have received your first dose of the vaccine no later than September 27, 2021. The sooner you get your first dose, the better your chances to win!

New COVID-19 Vaccine or Test Requirement
All NYC Health + Hospitals staff are now required to be fully vaccinated with an approved COVID-19 vaccine or have a weekly test in order to conduct their duties working for our health care system. This includes full or part time staff, affiliate staff, temp workers, students, interns, volunteers, vendors, and others who work in our public hospitals, Gotham Health centers, post-acute care facilities, Central Office, the Family Court program, MetroPlus and Correctional Health Services.
